I'm on a quest to get the marriage record for my great-great grandfather, Andrew Jackson Hughbanks (abt 1841-1922). I know that he married Pauline Theodate Jones (1851-1919). They were married on November 15, 1869 in Oskaloosa. What is the best way to go about getting this record? I think I could get the microfilm from LDS, but I don't feel like waiting three months or so. Do any of you know if the Mahaska County Courthouse would look this up for me? Thanks for any advice.
