Charles How was first married to Susan Parmenter in Warren County, Illinois on May 26, 1844. They had two children Isabella b. 1847 in Illinois and Patrick Henry b. 1850 in Iowa. Susan must have died in Mahask County shortly after Patrick's birth as he married Hannah Price on 16 September 1851.

John m Martha Wilson they both died and are buried in Nebraska. My grandfather (John & Martha's son) was Edison Curtis Herron. This side of the family has been a mystery to me for a long time. If you have any information on any of these people that would be great! Thank you

I don't think they ever stopped in IA but ended up in Greenwood Co, KS in ca 1855/58. They did go thur Ohio.
