This Alexander is Alexander Jr. He apparently lost an arm in a farm accident. Not sure whose children are listed. Somewhere I had found a census with Amos and Martha Ann on but I lost it. Then again in the 1930 Iowa Census as head of household, age 47 in Washington IA. Any information about her birthplace, date of birth, marriage, any children would be appreciated. Amos Martin was born about 1849 in either Lee Co. or Mahaska Co. Iowa. He was the sixth son of Alexander and Mary Ann Martin. The Martin's lived in Mahaska Co.(Oskaloosa) around the mid 1850's and on. The LDS lists Martha Ann Bush as being born in 1847 Iowa. She is listed as the fourth child of Powell and Sarah Bush. Martha Ann's parents are both reported to have died in Mahaska Co., Richland Township. I am a descendant of Amos Martin's brother James M. Martin. I am just looking for info. to add on the Martin family.
