Most of the time I do most of my stuff from memory. There is a Madison County Ohio which is next to Franklin County, Ohio The Smiths lived in Franklin County before they came to Keokuk County, Iowa in about 1852 as Samuel and John Smith are both included in the State of Iowa Census of that year. They moved to Madison County, Iowa inthe 1860's as they were there when theyhad the 1870 census. John had a daughter that stayed in Ohio on the "Old Home Place". She married Samuel Hunter and had several children. She is in places called Ann, but on the 1850 U.S. Census she is listed as Annette. Did the Dill family moved to Kansas?
