Hi gang. I'm Tim Ritter, in Fair Grove, MO. My maternal grandmother, Mary Catherine Hays, was raised in Winterset, IA. Her father was Roy Hays, born 1873 in Winterset. Her mother was Blanche Thomson or Thompson. Their marriage certificate says Thompson, so I go with that. I have no records as of yet on her family. I'm currently wading through the Hays side, but not much luck on the Thompsons. All I know is she was born in 1875, and died June 10, 1964. By the way, the yearbook note pertains to the fact that I have my grandmother's yearbooks from 1930-1932 for Winterset School. They are in perfect shape, and if anyone has ancestry which may be in these books, I would be happy to go through the books and scan a pic and email you the file! Just let me know. Happy Hunting....
