I am looking for a marriage license for Solomon Lewis Perkins and wife Catherine. He was married to Orpha in Dec. 1849 and lived in Keokuk County in 1860. In 1870 I found him in Madison county with the wife Catherine, but don't know when they got married. I assume that Orpha must have passed away, but don't know when or where.. Orpha and Solomon had children: Ruthinda, Sarah, Isaac M. and Emily Catherine (my grandmother). William was born around 1867 to Catherine and Solomon. There may have been other children after that, but 1870 is the last year that I can find any of them except for my grandmother who eventually arrived in Colorado and married my grandfather in 1886.
