Hi Glenn, Rachel married Joseph Shutt on August 25, 1835 in Sangamon County, Illinois. You can also order this marriage record and it might have the names of Rachel's parents on it. I haven't ordered any records yet from Illinois, so I don't know what info the early records have, but you could give it a try!
