    3. Kidds often didn't know their mother's maiden name and made errors on their marriage applications. One example is of one of the Pyle boys who said his mother was Mary Elizabeth Driskell. His grandmother was living at the time and her name was Eliza Driskell-but that was her 3rd husband. Actually, her name was Mary Elizabeth Anderson (his mother.)
