With no dates and no indication of what township these people lived in there is little to go on. If you want to look in the 1915 Madison County History index which I referred to in an earlier posting to see if these people are mentioned then I would be able to type a biography. However, most people are not listed. There is a J.D. Bell and a John J. Bell mentioned in the index to the 1879 history but don't know if it might be your family. I don't have the pages this index refers to here at home. These two county histories and the 1850, 1856, 1880 and 1910 censuses are the only reference material I have. For census lookup, since there is no index except for the 1850, I need a specific place in the county. I do not do anything without a sure relationship to that person stated in the request.
