Dear Listers, Please, if you have obituaries concerning Madison County put them on the Madison County GenConnect board for obits. Those are searched by people all over the country when they type in the surname they are interested in. If we want to build up our Madison County web site we need the information there. I believe the county web site is the first place a newbie goes to for information. It takes a long time for them to learn how to do the hundreds of other things that are available to us for research. The mailing list is a great place to put news items also. Another mailing list that I manage has old newspaper articles almost every week and they are very popular. The articles then go to the Archives so they can always be retrieved by anyone interested.
