    3. Cindy, I hope it's called "Winterset Cemetery" because I have been told that my grgrgrgrandparents Jonathan K. Bishop and his wife Mary are buried there. She has a headstone but he does not, so I have been told. I hope to stop there Good Friday on my way to Illinois and find the graves and take photos. 3. Hi Cindy, I need all of the help that I can get! <g> However, I don't show any "Burd's" buried there.... one Eastman...J. Horace - s/o J. R. & Iloe (?) - 1909 - 1910 But, none of the surnames that you have listed below. I haven't checked the death records yet though and I almost always find people who are listed in them as buried at a certain cemetery, yet the cemetery lists don't show them as buried there. I have also started a "Misc. Burial" list for those who died in Madison County and are either...buried in a different county or state and those that the death records don't show a burial place for and also are not listed in the indexes for the cemeteries. The phrase "buried in Madison County" just doesn't cut it! That list alone is going to be huge! I have already found a few people on that list, that others have inquired about, but didn't know where they were buried. I will look forward to your help Cindy. 3. Hi Katy & Cindy, The St. Charles Cemetery is about 40 pages long and I have been able to do 7 of them so far. It is a rather large cemetery and will take a while. After I transcribe the actual cemetery records, I check birth, marriage and death records, try to put parents names with the children and where possible, I check the Social Security Index to try and get the correct birth, marriage and death dates. I am working on the Jefferson - Goar Cemetery in between the St. Charles Cemetery because I get booooored working on the same one day after day. Hopefully when I return from vacation I can get really busy on the St. Charles Cemetery and get it completed. Try to be patient, and I will get all of them done as soon as possible. It takes longer this way, but I try to add as much info as possible. ----- Original Message ----- From: Tom and Katy Jablonicky <katydid@tznet.com> To: <IAMADISO-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, March 27, 2000 4:02 PM Subject: Re: [IAMADISO] Young Cemetery > St. Charles Cemetary is a good one. 3. Hi Sharon, Thanks much for the update on James and William. The following is what I have on William & family in the McDonald-Chase Cemetery. I have Laizure spelled as Laisure and am going to send a correction to the webmaster at the site to have it changed. I thought as long as I am doing that, you might have some correction and / or additions for those in the Laizure family who are buried there and I can send them all at one time. Laizure, Bell - d. 6-10-1881 Laizure, H. N. (Pete) - b. 1871 - d. 1951 Laizure, Harriet A. (McDonald) - b. 3-29-1872, Winterset - d. 3-25-1918 - w/o William B. - d/o Robert Fletcher & Leah C. (Ruth) McDonald Laizure, Infant - no dates - s/o J. T. & Rachel Laizure, Infant - d. 1-21-1880 - s/o William H. & Nancy E. Laizure, James T. - b. 1908 - d. ?? Laizure, John B. - b. 5-10-1878 Madison Co. - d. 7-15-1878 - s/o William H. & Nancy E. Laizure, Melvin G. - b. 1909 - d. ?? Laizure, Nancy E. (Low) - b. 1840 - d. 1925 - w/o William H. Laizure, Willaim B. - b. 6-12-1889, Winterset - d. 3-28-1939 - h/o Harriet A. - (m) 12-26-1893 Madison Co. - s/o William H. & Nancy E. (Lowe) Laizure, William Hamilton - b. 1829 - d. 1893 - h/o Nancy E. - f/o John B.; William B. If you can add any exact dates, birth places, parents, etc., I would like to add the new info to the records for the McDonald-Chase Cemetery. 3. Judy, Thank you for doing so much, for so many, for so little. If I could lay my hands on some Madison County records I would love to help. So if you know where I can get a listing for the Winterset Cemetery I would like to start with that. Hope you have a great vacation and the remodlers do everything right the first time. I'll be going to the Ohio Genealogy Conference in Cincinnati, Oh April 6. Sure hope some of the booksellers have something on Madison County. 3. Thanks Barbara, I have been working on the Jefferson-Goar Cemetery, but I'm not sure if I will get it done in time to post before leaving. I have lots more that I am working on for Madison County and submitted the 1880 - 1899 marriage records over a month ago to be posted on the Madison County site, but the webmaster works full time and just hasn't been able to find time to post it yet. I have started the 1849 - 1879 marriage records, but it is slow-going as they are very difficult to read and even more difficult to verify, so I work on them for a while and then do something else for a while. Thanks again and take care, and I'm going to survive this remodeling and am going to have a great time in Madison County! <g> Warm Wishes, Judy ----- Original Message ----- From: Barbara Fullwood <fullwood@primeline.com> To: <IAMADISO-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, March 26, 2000 5:33 PM Subject: Re: [IAMADISO] Young Cemetery > Judy- > > Thank you so much for all your hard work on behalf of Madison County > researchers, good luck with the remodeling, and have a great vacation. > > Barbara in NC > > > > The Young Cemetery is now online and ready to search at: > http://www.interment.net/ > > > > I have the Powell Cemetery submitted and it should be online any day. > > > >
