Freida Dear Freida Wells, As per Gary's longstanding wishes and discussions with his brother and me, there will be no funeral or memorial services, and private burial will be at some future date. Gary's brother has sent a brief notice for publication by the Chariton Newspapers, which should be in the Tuesday or at the latest Thursday edition. If I can provide you with any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me. We are still in recovery from the sudden and unexpected loss of Gary, who we saw as a very special person. Genealogy and Lucas County and Chariton and his family history were all passions in Gary's life from very early on until the present. He took his genealogical "responsibilities" very seriously, and from the messages I have received, he succeeded in his endeavors. He really was a special person, and he is much missed.
