HELLYER of Washington Township, Lucas County, Iowa, on march 22, 1906, at 7 p.m. occurred the marriage of their daughter ARTIE MAY, to MR. FLOYD H. BOND, son of MR. and MRS. DAVID BOND of Cedar Township, Lucas County, Iowa. Rev. Chas. Pickford officiated at the ceremony. About thirty guests were present to witness the marriage and enjoy the occasion. Miss Rebecca Dewey played the wedding march, at the close of which, the bridal party appeared and assumed the vows that united their lives. The bride was neatly attired in a gown of Kerma silk. The wedding repast was in keeping with the occasion, and enjoyed by those present. The bride and groom are well and favorably known in and about Russell where they have lived all their lives, and a host of friends will join in wishing them a long and happy life. MR. and MRS. BOND will locate on a farm near the groom's parents where they will soon be "at home" to their many friends. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Copied by Nancee(McMurtrey)Seifert October 4, 2004 [email protected]
