Hello Dick in Florida, et al: Thanks for the additonal info on the spouse's maiden names. In looking further, see that... 1. Arthur E. Gookin, 1896-1980, is buried next to his wf, Mary A. [Thomson], 1896-1967. [p. 266, Lucas Co. Cemetery Records: Chariton Cemtery, Division 4, North section, Row 7, #7]. That is a later birth date than the 1891 that I had previous... I think from a census where it states Arthur was b. Ohio and Thomson, Adams Twp., Muskingum Co., Ohio. 2. In my Kinship Report, James Delman Threlkeld is my "2nd cousin twice removed" ... so joins the Threlkeld's to the Gookin's. :-) This is what I have thus far for a developing Gookin line - more info would be appeciated.
