The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, June 21, 1906 Salem School closed on the 9th inst. On the evening preceding, the scholars of the school were very pleasantly entertained at the home of their teacher, ZORA BRYAN. Strawberries, ice cream and cake were generously served, many merry games were played and the evening passed away all too quickly All report a grand good time. All without exception acquitted themselves well. Those having charge of the program certainly deserve words of praise for their untiring energy and zeal in bringing it to so successful a termination.
