The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, March 4, 1909 MRS. IRA BILLINGS died at her home at Lucas on Saturday, February 27, after a very brief illness, supposed to be heart failure, thus her death came as a shock to her family and friends. Funeral services were held at Lucas on Monday and interment took place at Bethel Chapel, in Clarke County. She was a native of Lucas County and was about sixty years of age.
