The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, December 24, 1908 WILLIAM JOSEPH LEONARD was born in Lucas County, Feby 4th, 1885, and departed this life Dec. 21, 1908, after an illness of only a few days with cerebro spinal meningitis, aged 23 years, 10 months and 17 days. He has been a resident of this vicinity during his entire life and has a large circle of friends who mourn his untimely death.
