The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, January 25, 1906 A quiet wedding occurred yesterday at high noon at the home of MR. and MRS. JOHN WHITE in English Township, the contracting parties being their daughter, GRACE EDITH WHITE and GUY E. PATTERSON. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Brown of Oakley in the presence of a number of relatives and friends. The bride was attired in a becoming gown of blue silk, while the groom wore the conventional black. After congratulations had been proffered, a sumptuous dinner was served. The groom is a son of JOHN PATTERSON of English Township. Both he and his bride are well and favorably known and have a host of warm friends who will wish them a long and happy wedded life.
