The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, September 21, 1905 At a very pretty home wedding at the residence of MR. and MRS. D.M. DAVIS, three miles northwest of Chariton last Sunday at one o'clock, their daughter, MISS KATE DAVIS, was united in marriage to MR. O.E. BRILES, son of MR. and MRS. LEWIS BRILES of the same community. The officiating minister was C.F. Ward of the Chariton Christian Church. Only the immediate relatives and friends of the contracting parties witnessed the ceremony. An excellent wedding dinner was served and the young couple were the recipients of many splendid presents. Both bride and groom have been reared to young manhood and womanhood in this community, and are of excellent worth. They will live on a farm 3 l/2 miles north of Chariton.
