The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, February 15, 1906 LAGRANGE NOTES: FRED WHITTLESEY has purchased the old JOHN GOLTRY homestead and expects to move there about the first of March. MRS. ALBERT WERTS and son MALCOM are visiting relatives in Illinois. ALBERT WERTS is moving to the farm he purchased near Russell. M.E. VAN NICE of Wellsville, Mo., came Wednesday evening looking after business interests and visiting relatives. HERMAN CASSITY of Garnett, Kas., came Wednesday for a short visit with relatives and friends in Russell and LaGrange. A protracted meeting is now in progress at the C.P. Church, Rev. J.C. Moore of Kansas City is conducting the meeting. The attendance is good and quite an interest is manifested.
