Sincerely, Crystal The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, July 27, 1905 JOSEPH GILLASPEY, a former well known resident of this county, died at his home in Warsaw, Mo., on July 20, 1905, after an illness of several months, at the age of 77 years, 4 months and 22 days. The remains were brought to this place and taken to Lacona on Saturday where funeral services conducted by Elder Claude West were held at the home of his daughter, MRS. WILLIAMS, on Sunday. JOSEPH GILLASPEY was born near Indianapolis, Ind., on Feb. 28, 1828. He lived in Liberty Township, this county, for about 28 years, going from here to Missouri two years ago. He was highly respected by all who knew him and his kind, generous nature won for him friends of all with whom he came in contact. He was honest and upright, and a devoted husband and father. He is survived by his wife and five children. They are MRS. DAVID MCFANN of Warsaw, Mo.; MRS. R.H. HENDRICKSON of Dresden, Mo.; MRS. LOU WILLIAMS of Lacona; TOM GILLASPEY of Oakley and WILL GILLASPY of Des Moines.
