Mrs. William Dayton pased away on Wednesday morning at her home north of Bard. Although in poor health for a year or more, death came suddenly as she and her husband were preparing for breakfast. Mrs. Dayton, whose maiden name was Nellie Keever, was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Keever, and a sister of Bert Keever of Wapello. She is survived by her parents, two brothers, one sister and the husband. We hope to give a complete obituary next week. Funeral services will be held from the late home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by J.R. Hammond, and interment made in the Wapello Cemetery.
