    1. [IALOUISA] Absalom Frazier
    2. Christina Wilson
    3. Absalom Frazier and family lived in Louisa County for a short time between 1865 and 1870. They were in Des Moines County for the 1870 census and in Washington County by 1880. Absalom has been notorious for not leaving a paper trail, but this is the first time I've looked in Louisa County. Absalom was born abt 1828-1832 probably in Ohio. He is a been a brick wall for 30 years--but recently I started working on an old note I had that 2 brothers of his lived in Morning Sun. One *might* be Elliott Frazier. My Absalom died Jul 1893 in Washington County. His wife was Catherine Dill (daughter of Mercer Dill and Nancy Dailey--born in Preble County Ohio). They were married in Nov 1853 in Randolph County Indiana. She died in 1916. The children I found are: Leander brn ~1856 probably in Indiana (maybe Ohio) Isalona brn ~1860 died bef 1870 again, probably in Indiana Florence brn ~ 1863 in Indiana died 18 Nov 1896 in Washington County Frank E brn ~1868 in Louisa County died 23 Oct 1945 Washington County Burt brn ~1870 died aft 1916 John brn ~1870 died bef 1880 there are supposedly 3 more children I'd love information on their brief stay in Louisa County--and to contact other Frazier researchers in the region.
