The Wapello Republican, January 10, 2008 WIENARD, Linda Jo Linda Jo Weinard, 56, of Anamosa, died Friday, Jan 4, 2008, at her home. The daughter of Harold and Bety Smith Weinard, she was born January 15, 1951, in Iowa City. She attended West Liberty High School and was employed as a retail merchandiser with Hallmark, working with stores such as Wal-Mart. She was a member of the North Liberty American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include a son, Barry Willier and wife Jody of Eaton, Colorado; a daughter, Marcy Willier Nabor and husband Jacob of North Liberty; her longtime companion, Jim Taylor of Anamosa, his daughter Josie Taylor of Miami, Florida; five grandchildren: Megan, Emily, Logan, Olivia, and Lincoln; three sisters; Aurilee Schenck and friend, Bob Wakefield, of Rock Island, Judy Buckman of Morning Sun, and Louise Weinard of Iowa City; two brothers, Hal Bud Weinard and wife Sandy of West Liberty and Rock Weinard and wife Joan of Alexandria, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. The funeral service for Linda Jo Weinard was at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 9, at Henderson-Harker Funeral Home in West Liberty with the Rev. Betsy Neipert officiating. Burial followed in the Oak Ridge Cemetery,, West Liberty. Visitation was Tuesday evening at the funeral home. A memorial fund was established at the funeral home.
