Mrs. Shultz was the daughter of Reuben and Harriet Lane, and was born at Marshalltown on September 12, 1868. She was twice married. Her first husband was a Mr. Stout who died many years ago. After his death she was married to Edward Shultz, who also died previously. Surviving are two sons, and six daughters: Louis Stout, Oakland, California; Joseph Shultz, Seattle, Washington; Mrs. Miriam Mellan, Campbell, Minnesota; Mrs. Glenn Journey, Jerome, Idaho; Mrs. Mabel Johnson, Honolulu; Mrs. Alice Nelley, Boise; Mrs. Edna Grant, Hollister California, and Mrs. Peters. The body is at the Stacy funeral home.
