A native of Garfield County, Oklahoma, he was born December 20 3, 1900, and was married to Ethel Connelly, who survives, as do two sons: Edward Robert Hamman Jr., in the service at Camp Pendleton in California, and Robert Lee Hamman, at home. Also surviving are a brother and three sisters: Clarence Hamman, Los Angeles; Mrs. L. R. Hiatt, Fairmont, Oklahoma; Mrs. Ted Kriete, Covington, Oklahoma: and Mrs. Ernest Peters, also of Fairmont. Last rites will be held at the Dudgeon funeral home at 2 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in the Wapello cemetery.
