Boggs was the last surviving charter member of Oak Grove Christian church at Cranston, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday. The Reverend W. L. Sandford, Columbus Junction, will officiate and burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Boggs was born August 28, 1870, at Conesville, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Boggs. He was married October 7, 1891, to the former Josephine Thomas, who died in December 1916, and later married Elsie Beenblossom, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Frank Barnhart, Conesville; two sons, Thomas, ElPaso, Texas, and Richard, at home; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
