Davison – 1976 WAPELLO-- Mark Lindon Davison, 70, Des Moines, a Wapello native, died at 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, at the Iowa Methodist hospital, Des Moines. He was born Aug. 15, 1905, in Wapello, the son of Joiner and Minnie Cilly Davison. He married Helen Bence in Bloomfield May 29, 1930. He moved to Des Moines 21 years ago, was a federal banking examiner for the same period, and a member of Wapello Lodge 5, AF&AM. Surviving: the wife; two sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Mellinger, Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Helen Roach, Virginia, Minn.; and brother, Rex, Davenport. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday, Dudgeon-McCuley funeral home, Wapello, Rev. Gerrold Swinton; Wapello cemetery. Submitted by Ruth Mickelson
