Born July 16, 1962, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Loren Kay and Valeen SCHAPER JACKSON. Ms. JACKSON worked for Dr. Diana Dykes for 25 years, and the past three years at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in Pediatrics with children of special needs. She was a lifelong resident of Wapello and had graduated from Wapello High School in 1980. She then graduated from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids as a dental assistant. Survivors include one daughter, Lauren Kay WILLIAMS at home; her mother and stepfather, Valeen and Keith ZEIGENHORN of Wapello; one sister, Teresa JACKSON of Olds; her aunt and uncle, Leota and Dwight SCHAPER of Columbus Junction; and two stepsisters, Glenda WHEELER and Jill SCHNELL, both of Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello. The funeral for Ms. Jackson will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home in Wapello, with the Revs. James H. Huston and Dan Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Wapello Cemetery in Wapello. Family and friends will gather for a fellowship lunch at the Heritage Center in Wapello following the burial.
