A native of Keokuk, Mrs. Hall was born July 25, 1858, the daughter of Charles and Barbara Smith Bettler. She was married to Allen Spencer Hall at Oakville in 1886. Mr. Hall died in 1929. The couple's only son, Herbert Hall, also died previously. Surviving are three dollars, and Mrs. Maudie Kempf, Saginaw Michigan, Mrs. Jennie Mellinger, East Moline, Illinois, and Mrs. Bessie Campell of Oakville. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Several brothers and sisters are dead. Last rites will be held at the Methodist church at 2 p.m. Friday. Rev. Mark E. Weston, will officiate, and burial will be in Edwards Cemetery. The body will be taken from Dudgeon funeral home in Wapello to the church at 12:30 p.m. Friday to lie in state in the church until time for the funeral.
