Due to some disagreements on policy and mastheads between TGN and coordinators on Rootsweb, the UsGenWeb is being moved off of TGN. There should be no disruption of service as the UsGenWeb main page is being updated as rapidly as the new changes are made. The link UsGenWeb.org should work for you as all known State sites that have been moved have been updated on UsGenWeb. There are still many moves going on so if you find a link not working, just try later in the day or tomorrow. Coordinators are either using redirects or will indicate on the index page where the pages have moved. All efforts are being made to avoid any disruptions in service with the free genealogy researchers. The Louisa County Genealogical Committee's website will remain on Rootsweb for the time being as I have had no problem with Rootsweb to date and they have not put their banner on the pages. However, my personal pages do have the banner but it is small and unobtrusive so once again these sites are staying on Rootsweb for now. I will give you the URLS so you can check to see what is on the banner. Banners on some sites are larger with more links on them..
