Graveside services will be held 3:30 pm Friday March 7, 2008 at the Columbus City Cemetery in Columbus City with Pastor Cathy Whitlach officiating. No visitation is scheduled. A general memorial has been established in Joyes name. The Jones - Eden Funeral Home in Washington is handling the arrangements. Joye was born September 29, 1928 in Knoxville, Iowa the daughter of Guy W. and Ada D. (Mowl) Robuck. She attended school in Knoxville. Joye was united in marriage to Lewis "Burdette" Gentzler in 1957 in Kahoka, Missouri. Joye later moved to the Columbus Junction area where she has resided since. She worked at the Colonial Manor in Columbus Junction for a number of years. Joye was a member of the Columbus City United Methodist Church, Rebecca Lodge and ODD Fellows. She is survived by one son, Burdette Gentzler of Columbus Junction. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1958; one son, Richard Robuck; and one brother, William Robuck.
