    3. In view of several unsubscribe requests in recent weeks, I would like to conduct an informal opinion poll amongst our subscribers. Currently, the Louisa County Message Boards from both Rootsweb and IaGenWeb are gatewayed to the IaLouisa mailing list. While the obituary postings can be very helpful for researchers when a member of their family is posted, some apparently do not like the volume of extra mail. As of today there are 1321 obituaries on the IaGenWeb boards that have been uploaded to date and many more will be appearing in the near future. These obituaries can be posted or viewed permanently at: http://iagenweb.org/boards/louisa/obituaries/index.cgi We cannot please everyone all the time, but it would be helpful to list administrators to know the subscribers preferences if a large number of subscribers have strong opinions one way or another. If you do not wish to post to the list, you may contact me privately. At present we have 93 subscribers to the list and at times, it has been over 100 so we want this list to be as helpful as possible to those subscribers. Norma Jennings List Administrator

    3. The flood of obits is overwhelming. Keep it up, please! I'm skimming the subject lines for surnames I'm interested in and archiving everything else. This is working fine for me.
