Adamson, 84, died Wednesday, April 8, 1981, at 2 p.m. at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Iowa City. Services were held Saturday, April 11, at the Agency United Methodist Church. The Rev. Gerald McGee officiated with burial in the Agency Cemetery. Paulbearers were Robert Glenn, Richard Willhoit, Roger Willhoit, Dale Adamson, Gene Glenn and Leo Adamson. He was born Octorber 8, 1896, in Marshall County to Grant and Amelia Webster Adamson. He lived and farmed northeast of Agency, Iowa, most of his life except for ten years when he farmed east of Columbus Junction. He was a veteran of World War I, a member of World War I Veterans Barracks 1510 and attended United Methodist Church in Agency. He married Abbie Reynolds February 1, 1921. Survivors include his wife, a daughter Dorothy Wheaton of Ottumwa, Route 7; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a sister Cecil Harris of Branson, Missouri. His parents, three brothers, one sister and one granddaughter preceded him in death.
