Hershell Morris Addleman, 78, of Columbus Junction, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 1990, at Colonial Manor Care Center, Columbus Junction, following an extended illness. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, at Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction, the Rev. Thomas Woodin officiating. Burial will be in Indian Creek Cemetery. Mr. Addleman was born Jan. 16, 1912, in Salem, Mo., a son of Charles and Katherine (Metzertine) Addleman. On Jan. 16, 1939, he married Mildred Paral in Kahoka, Mo. He lived all his adult life in the Columbus Junction area where he made his living as a farmer. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Columbus Junction. Survivors include his wife, Millie; two sons, John of Wichita, Kan.; and David of Cotter; and one daughter, Kathel Cooper of Jefferson City, Mo. He was preceded in death by two sisters and an infant son. Visitation is Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
