Ahlf, 72, of Davenport, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery, Grandview, Iowa. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. today at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Mr. Ahlf died Saturday at Genesis Medical Center, East Campus, Davenport. He married Betty Thompson in 1949 in Muscatine, Iowa. He served as a medic in the Army during World War II and saw action in the European Theater. He was a member of the church and Davenport Elks Lodge. He enjoyed golf. Survivors include his wife; a son, Jeffery Mark, Camden, Ark.' and a sister, Catherine Bahr, Des Moines.
