He was born Oct. 20, 1892, in Louisa County, the son of James Austin and Ellen Hartsock Tisor. He married Hazel Reynolds at Muscatine July 17, 1918. Surviving are his wife; four children, Floyd, Wilbur, Maurice, Mrs. Violet McKillip, all of Muscatine; 10 grandchildren and four step-grandchildren; three brothers, Clarence, Wapello, Raymond and Albert, Muscatine. Three brothers and two sisters are dead. Services will be held at the Dudgeon funeral home in Wapello Saturday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Buntenbach will officiate.
