Mrs. Helen Ross Albrecht, 81, a resident of Iowa Masonic Nursing Home, Bettendorf, died Tuesday, May 14, 1991, at St. Luke's Hospital, Davenport. Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. Friday at Weerts Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial was in Davenport Memorial Park. Helen Baker was born May 28, 1909, at Letts, the daughter of John H. and Francella Hutter Baker. She was a registered nurse and had been employed by Visiting Nurses Association, St. Luke's Hospital and as office nurse for the late Dr. Benfer, former Davenport physician. Helen Baker married Henry Ross in 1934 in Davenport. He died in 1968. She married Walter Albrecht in 1971 in Davenport. He died in 1978. Mrs. Albrecht was a member of Trinity Chapter 541, Order of Eastern Star; Women of the Moose; St. John's Methodist Church, Davenport; and Quad-City Plus 60 Club. Memorials may be made to Shriner Crippled Children's Hospital. Survivors include a son, William Ross, Dubuque, Iowa; three grandchildren; and a sister, Leda Lamb, Davenport.
