    3. The response to my e-mail yesterday has been great and I appreciate it. So far, the favorable has been running 3 to 1 over the unfavorable so unless I see a lot more negative responses, the obituaries will remain gatewayed to the mailing list. For those who get a ton of e-mail like I do, I might suggest that if you find the obituaries annoying, that you consider a separate account for your list subscriptions or other e-mail. I currently have two other accounts on Yahoo, one that I use for the Washington County IaGenWeb site <[email protected]> and one I use for the LCGS website <[email protected]> that helps keep Louisa County and Washington County submission materials separated and also helps keep the spammers from harvesting this addy. My co-coordinator on the Civil War site, Mary Alice Schwanke up in Minnesota has a separate account on MSN for Civil War correspondence and submissions. For me, this account doubles for the Civil War correspondence as eventually I will be turning the CW site over to a much younger MaryAlice. However, for those of us that are coordinators and IaGenWeb members, our leadership team has started sending all IaGenWeb mail to all of our mail accounts so I get three copies of some things. Fortunately, gatewayed items only come to one account, namely the Iowatelecom one. If that sounds complicated, it does save a little confusion on this end. FYI, Connie Street currently maintains the IALOUISA Genweb site and IaGenWeb message boards plus the new Heritage Center website. I believe she has some other counties across the state. She has several volunteers that are typing Louisa County obituaries for you so you can continue to see new material as the days go by. We both are determined to keep the Louisa County websites locally based where we have access to local history. Connie is the manager at the Heritage Center so she has great access to all the historical collections there. For those of you that have families that spill over into Washington County, I might add that my assistant Janet Evans has been out several days already taking photographs of gravestones in Elm Grove, Riverside, Sandy Hook and other cemeteries. She must take that camera to work with her as she has been posting new photographs several days a week when the weather is warmer. And yes, Connie, I still intend to finish photographing Cambrian Cemetery but this house plant is waiting for just a little warmer weather and a little more walking practice. We have a great team working here in southeastern Iowa and I want to thank all the typists and contributors who have not been named as well as those that have. Norma Jennings.
