Mrs. Rachael Ann Reddick, 82, rural route No. 6, died at 9:45 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.C. Altekruse in Seventy-Six Township. Death came after an illness of a week. Mrs. Reddick was born at Chillicothe, Oh., May 19, 1848, being a daughter of Jackson and Lucinda Stahl. She was married to William Reddick at Locust Grove, Oh., March 6, 1864. Mrs. Reddick was a member of the Letts Methodist Episcopal Church. She had resided in this community for the past 24 years. Surviving are the following sons; George W., of Wapello, Clark, of Parker, Kas., Emmer, of Morrisonville, Wis., Jackson of Iowa City, William H. of Letts and Merritt J., of Clinton, a daughter, Mrs. Altekruse, one half-brother, Louis, of Paonia, Colo., 70 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the Fairbanks Home for Funerals at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Burial will be at Lett.
