Patsy Ann Ash, 74, Wapello, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, at the daughter's home. The Revs. Dan Doolin and Brent Smith will officiate. After the services, family and friends will gather at Solid Rock Baptist Church, Wapello. Per her wishes, her body has been cremated. A memorial fund has been established for Great River Hospice. Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home, Wapello, is handling the arrangements. Mrs. Ash was born Jan. 6, 1933, in Milton, the Daughter of Milton J. and Marie Scottin Campbell. She married Frank Laverne Ash on Jan. 20, 1960, in Monmouth, Ill. He preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 1993. She was a homemaker and had been a cook at the Wapello School, the Wapello Nursing Home, Jack & Jill Foods and various restaurants. She had attended Solid Rock Baptist Church. Her family was vey important to her, especially her grandchildren. She injoyed gardening, her birds and flowers and going shopping. Survivors include three daughters, Lavonne 'Vonnie' Alexander and husband John of Danville, Pam Rosauer and husband Dave and Sherri Carver and husband Doug, all of Wapello; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Vivian Roberts and husband Pete of Ottumwa; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Bill Campbell and Jack Campbell; and two sisters, Donna Miller and Betty Taylor.
