Skipto DATE: 3/4/2009 at 14:43:03 Surnames: ALLEN,MILLS,SAPP,TOLLEFSON,HAINEY,BOULTON Columbus Gazette Mrs. Neva Mills of Nichols, Iowa, and Mr. and Mrs. Odus Sapp of Winfield were called to Hartsburg, Missouri, by the death of their brother-in-law, Albert Allen, 76, husband of Dorothy Partington Boulton Allen. He passed away suddenly January 21, 1978, after a period of failing health. Mr. Allen had worked in the Winfield vicinity in the middle 1920's as a farm hand. The Allens were married March 14, 1928 in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, and established their home in Missouri. He is survived by his wife; three sons and one daughter in Missouri; one step-son, Burdette Boulton of Muscatine and one step-daughter, Geraldine (Mrs. Ossie) Tollefson of Tacoma, Washington, who had arrived a week earlier to attend the 50th wedding aniversary of her father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Boulton of Wapello. Services were held January 23 at the Ashland Funeral Home. Mr. and Mrs. Verne Hainey of Wapello and the Burdette Boulton family of Muscatine attended the service.
