Adams, age 54, of Harper, Iowa, died March 2, 2000, when her home was destroyed by fire. Tonya Aerial Thomassen was born September 7, 1945, in Washinton, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Mona (James) Tomassen. She married Gary Duane Romoser on October 21, 1964. They were the parents of four children. They divorced in 1979. Tonya later married DeWayne Adams on September 7, 1981. They later divorced. Tonya loved the outdoors and liked gardening. Survivors include her children; Anthony (Dosha) Romoser, Keota; Brett Romoser, Keota; Chad Romoser, Blue Springs, MO, and Jodi Romoser, Washington. There are two grandsons. Also surviving are two sisters, Paula Jones, Prospect Hights, IL and Pam Fritz, Grandburry, Texas. An aunt, Gladys Hartman, of Muscatine, also survives. She was preceded in death by her parents. Graveside services were held March 7, at the Indian Creek Cemetery. A memorial has been established at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home.
