Funeral services for 93-year-old Pearl Gladys Adams of Conesville, Iowa was held on Saturday, April 6 at 10:00 a.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home, Columbus Junction, Iowa. Visitation was held on Friday at the Stacy-lewis Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Pearl died on Wednesday at the Colonial Manor Care Center, Columbus Junction. A memorial has been established at the funeral home. Burial was in the Conesville Cemetery, Conesville, Iowa. Pearl Gladys Baker was born March 1, 1903 in Millersburg, Illinois to William & Lucy Almadinger Baker. Pearl attended school in Columbus Junction. Pearl married Russell Albert Adams March 1, 1920 in Conesville. The couple farmed nortwest of Columbus Junction and later farmed west of Conesville. They moved to Conesville when they retired on September, 1961. Russell proceeded Pearl in death September 12, 1962. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors of America. Pearl was an active member of the Grace United Church of Christ, Conesville, the Farm Bureau Women and the Conesville Senior Citizens. She enjoyed music, cards and especially the times spend with family and friends. Pearl became a resident of Colonal Manor Care Center on September 1, 1980. Pearl is survived by two sons and their wives, Howard and Twyla Adams, Beach Park, Illinois, E.B. (Bill) & Gail Adams, Blue Grass, Iowa. Two daughters, Mrs, Bernice Mundt, Waverly, Iowa and Mrs. Wanda Carson, Conesville, Iowa. There are 12 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and 1 sister.
