Skipto DATE: 2/21/2009 at 20:39:27 Surnames: VANDYKE,SKIPTON,CARLISLE Nettie M. VanDyke, 92, died Monday evening at the Muscatine Care Center. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Fairbvanks-Lamb Chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is 2 to 9 p.m. Friday. Born Oct. 21, 1888 in Fredonia, she was the daughter of William and Hannah Adams Skipton. Her marriage to Scott W. VanDyke took place March 7, 1906 in Fredonia. Survivors include one son, Albert of Muscatine, eight grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Mary Carlisle of Columbus Junction, also survives. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, one sister and two brothers.
