Henry Alonzo Wagner, 67, Wapello, died late Monday afternoon at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Dugeon-McCulley Funeral Home. Rev. Richard Smith will officiate. Burial will be in the Wapello Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 7 p.m. Thursday. The son of Jesse and Ruth Hart Wagner, he was born April 1 1913 in Fredonia. His Marriage to Galilee Johnson took place May 11, 1935 in Amboy, Ill. He started the Wagner Ready Mix in 1949 and had currently been employed as a building mover. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Henry C. and Darrel, both of Wapello, Kenneth of Nichols and Donald of Burlington; one daughter, Patricia Russell of Wapello; 10 grandchildren; his mother, Ruth Washburn of Dixon, Ill.; and four sisters, Frances Perkins and Helen Lurtsema of Dixon, Ill., Pauline Rubin of Subelette, Ill., and Phyllis Fightmaster of Rochelle, Ill. He was preceded in death by his father and sisters and brothers.
