Skipto DATE: 2/26/2009 at 13:40:07 Surnames: BRAUNS,BOLLEMUELLER,BOORN,EVERSMEYER,KASTEN,HUMISTON,FARR,PECK Wapello, William Braums Five days after his 85th birthday, a Wapello man died in Mercy Hispital. He was William Brauns, who died at 2:07 p.m. March 24, 1956. A native of Bayfield, Brauns was the son of August and Wilhelmina Bollemueller Brauns. He was married to Katherine Wehmeyer on Dec. 7, 1897. She died in March of 1927. Brauns is survived by four sons and six daughters; John Brauns, Eria, Pa,; Fred Brauns, Rockport, Ind.; Henry Brauns, Muscatine; William Brauns, Mrs. Christena Boorn, and Mrs. Emma Eversmeyer, all of Wapello. Mrs. Grace Kasten, Fredericktown, Ohio; Mrs. Frances Humiston, Davenport; Mrs. Pauline Farr, Spenard, Alaska; and Mrs. Irene Peck, of Caballo, N.Mex. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Floyd Shepherd at the Wapello Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Wapello Cemetery. The body is at the Dudgeon Funerl Home in Wapello.
