Kenneth Mark "Leap" Arington, 50, Muscatine, died Saturday, March 10, 2007, at his home. The Rev. Jason Crossen will officiate. Casket Bearers are Jerry Stokes, Chuck Walker, Bob Mussig, Andy Atkins, Dave Dierickx, Jeff Crumel, Roger Conklin and Bob Dierickx. Honorary casket bearer is Marty Wilkens. Burial will be at the Columbus City Cemetery. After the services, a time of food and fellowship will be held at Gannon Hall. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice. Mr. Arington was born April 24, 1956, in Muscatine, the son of Kenneth and Marie (Prado) Arington. He was employed at Bandag for 25 years and most recently at Menasha as a forklift driver. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and everything to do with the outdoors, especially spending time at the cabin on the Cedar River. Survivors include his mother; a daughter, Jennifer Sanderman and husband Anthony of Des Moines; three grandchildren; two sisters, Anita Wingerter and husband Bernard of Keokuk and Susan Cowles of Muscatine; one nephew; seven nieces; several great-nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Vinnie and wife Renee of Nichols who cared for him during the last month of his live. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Gayla Taylor.
