A native of Columbus Junction, Iowa, he was employed with communications maintenance for the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, the Blandford Masonic Lodge No 3, AF & AM and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Betty B. LEFFLER; five daughters, Jacqueline Patricia, Cynthia Lou, Catherine Louise, Alesia Beth and Darlene Jill all of Colonial Heights, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer R. LEFFLER of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. Harold PYLES and Mrs. Ann VINCENT, both of Merritt Island, Florida and Mrs. Roger SMITH of Tulsa,Oklahoma. Funeral Services were held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, July 8, in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church wiht the Rev.Julian Yuile officiating. Burial was in South Lawn Memorial Park, Petersburg, Virginia
