Mrs. Elliott lived in Letts all of her life until two years ago when she suffered a fractured hip. She had been confined to her bed since that time, and had been cared for in nursing homes. The daughter of Isaac and Charlotte Galbraith Shellabarger, she was born at Letts on Dec. 20, 1865. She was marred on Jan. 1, 1890, to Robert Elliott. Surviving are the husband and two half-sisters, Mrs. Arther Lieberknecht, Sr., Letts, and Mrs. Alice Gipple, Rock Island. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters in infancy; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Guthrie and Mrs. Allie Thompson; and three brothers, M. A. Shellabarger, V. Shellabarger and Fred Shellabarger. She was a member of the United Brethern church of Letts and a charter member of chapter No. 370, Order of the Eastern, Star, at Letts. The body is at the Geo. M.
